Bhavya Chhabra is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the Faculty of Education and Psychology
at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary. She specializes in behavioural
addictions, specifically exercise addiction within the realm of sports psychology. Her work
also focuses on athletes’ performance enhancement, psychological skills training, and she
skilfully integrates these insights into her sports psychology lectures. Ms. Chhabra’s
research in sports psychology has earned her accolades and invitations to present at
conferences across Europe. She has numerous publications in Quartile 1 high-impact factor
peer-reviewed journals, significantly contributing to the scientific literature.
Previously a Lecturer at O.P. Jindal Global University, India, Bhavya holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London, where she received a Gold Award for her volunteer services. She has also worked with differently-abled individuals at the South London and Maudsley Hospital, NHS, England.
Bhavya has taught subjects like Mental Hygiene, Personality Psychology, and Sports Psychology across various universities. Her goal is to explore innovative approaches, strive to make a lasting impact on individuals’ lives, and contribute to the global mission of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3: Health for All).
